The user/site visitor agrees that in the event of any dispute arising in relation to this Disclaimer or any dispute arising in relation to the web site whether in contract or tort or otherwise, to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts located at Ahmedabad only for the resolution of all such disputes.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Minimum Age as on 24th November 2024

    Half Marathon 18 yrs
    10 Km Run 12 yrs
    5 Km Fun Run 10 yrs
  2. Participants should upload a valid and legible photo ID Card (Aadhar / Driving License / PAN / Voter ID Card / Passport) during registration.
  3. Participants should have completed Full Marathon / Half Marathon on or after May 2024. The same should have been achieved within 6:30 hours and 3:30 hours respectively.
  4. On race day, registered participants will be lined up on a first come first served basis for the race start.
  5. All finishers of the race categories will get the finisher medal post their run on race day (medals will not be posted to individual runners). While provisional results will be available between 25th to 28th Nov after the race day.
  6. Timing certificates of Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10KM race categories finishers will be available for download post 7 days (Working days from race day).

ENTRY RULES & REGULATIONS

Please thoroughly read all the information mentioned in this form before registering your entry.

  1. Participants can register only online using the provided registration link and pay the applicable entry fees based on the chosen race category. No individual or group has been authorized to collect entries on behalf of the event organizer, Adani Ahmedabad Marathon.
  2. Once you register online, your details cannot be changed. For any corrections, please email support@adanimarathon.com.
  3. Participants must register on or before the closing date of registration; no new entries will be accepted after November 10th.
  4. Once registration is confirmed, the fee is non-refundable. If the event is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the organizers, the registration fee paid will be adjusted towards your participation on a new date. If you are unable to participate on the new date, you will not be eligible for a refund.
  5. Registration fees will not be refunded in cases of non-participation, including failure by a confirmed participant to collect his/her bib from the Expo or being unable to run on race day due to high temperature or being unwell.
  6. Please save the confirmation email received after registration as a reference for future communications.
  7. Runners found to have interchanged their running number bib and/or timing bib tag with another individual will be disqualified from the event and will not be allowed to apply or participate in subsequent editions of the event.
  8. Please note that if you do not wear your timing bib tag as instructed, you will not receive an official finish time or an official certificate recording your finish times. No bib tag – No entry on race day.
  9. No vehicles are allowed on the course. Anyone bringing wheeled vehicles will be disqualified from the race and asked to leave the course.
  10. Only confirmed participants wearing the running number bibs will be allowed on the route. Any person found wearing an incorrect bib or no bib will be disqualified and removed by course security.
  11. Every runner must wear his/her running number bib on the front of the vest. Any mutilation, folding, alteration, or damage to the bib will result in disqualification from the event.
  12. Organizers reserve the right to stop any participant from participating if they are found medically unfit to continue, in the opinion of the medical personnel.
  13. Baggage counters are available for all participants. It is strongly recommended that you do not leave valuables like mobile phones, cameras, jewelry, watches, electronic gadgets, etc., in the bag stored. Organizers are not responsible for any loss of baggage or belongings.
  14. Participants must cooperate with the police and security personnel deputed at the event venue and on the route. Participants and supporters are liable to random checks on race day for security purposes.
  15. The right to participate in the event and the rights and benefits available to the participant under this registration form are at the sole discretion of the Event Organizing team and cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstances. The participant alone shall be entitled to the rights and benefits arising hereunder.
  16. Any race day audio, video, or visual recordings made by a participant at the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon BIB Expo or on race day are to be used only for personal purposes and cannot be used for any commercial purposes.
  17. The event organizer reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon at any point in time without notice.
  18. Participants are solely responsible for their own health and well-being during the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon. The organizers, including Adani Sportsline and its affiliates, will not be held liable for any casualties or serious injuries.

Prize Money Rules

  1. The prize money applies to Indian citizens only.
  2. Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force) Category: All participants (male and female) must register through their respective Armed Force unit in coordination with the organizers. For example, if you are a serving member of the armed forces and have registered directly, you will fall under the Open Category.
  3. Open Category: All participants (male and female) except those in the Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force).
  4. On race day, a victory ceremony will be conducted for the fastest winners for men and women. (Results announced on race day are provisional.)
  5. All winners will be announced on our website and social media channels 15 working days after the event, following document verification. Winners will receive their prizes 45 days after the event.
  6. Finish positions of all timed category runners within the age groups will be based on chip finish times only. Finish positions of the fastest/open/overall full marathon, half marathon, and 10KM runners will also be based on chip finish times only.
  7. Runners must cross the start line within 15 minutes of the official start time of the full marathon, half marathon, and 10KM race categories to be eligible for timings, rankings, and prize money (where applicable).
  8. Prizes will only be declared if a minimum of 10 runners finish the race in the respective categories.
  9. Prize winners may be required to submit further proof of identity/age as required by the organizer. The Event Promoter may, at its sole discretion, withhold disbursement or disqualify the participant from the competition.
  10. All prizes are subject to taxation, providing age proof, and the completion of necessary formalities.
  11. Timings and rankings will not be generated for runners who miss running through all timing points, including the timing mats at the start and finish gates. The performance of such runners will be considered incomplete and will not be eligible for rankings or prize money.
  12. If, upon investigation, runners are found to have interchanged their running number bib and/or bib tag with others, they will not be entitled to any timing or prize money (where applicable). Such runners will also be disqualified from future competitions.

Appeals

  1. Any confirmed runner of the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon can appeal concerning the official race results, including overall or age category finish positions declared after the race.
  2. All claims for prize money made after December 31, 2024, will be nullified. Only appeal letters received on or before December 5 will be entertained.
  3. A jury shall deliberate, verify, and deliver its decision on the protest within 8-10 working days of receiving the appeal letter. The decision will be communicated to the person protesting and, if favorable, will be featured on the event website. The decision of the Event Organizer shall be final and binding on all.
  4. Timing Results: If the timing result of a runner, in relation to his/her gender and/or age, needs to be updated online, the runner must write to info@sportstimingsolutions.in or support@adanimarathon.com no later than December 5, specifying the nature of the edit required and attaching the relevant proof of change. Requests received after December 5 will not be entertained.

DISCLAIMER

I am voluntarily participating in the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon with full knowledge of the associated risks, and I agree to accept responsibility for all risks of injury. By signing this Waiver and Release, I declare that I am medically able, properly trained, physically fit, and capable of participating in a race, and that my medical care provider has approved my participation. I agree to independently consult my physician in the event of any injuries or medical questions arising from or related to my participation in the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon. I also acknowledge full and sole responsibility for my own medical expenses and that I am responsible for any and all medical expenses on my behalf. In consideration for being permitted to participate in the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon, I agree to assume all risks and to release and hold harmless the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon. I understand and agree that this Waiver and Release is binding upon my heirs, assigns, and legal representatives. I hereby grant my consent and permission to the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon, its partner organizations, and employees to use any and all information submitted in my application and/or my name, photograph, videotape, motion picture recording, voice, or likeness for any purpose, including pre-race and post-race publicity.
